Southfields Veterinary Specialists are currently recruiting a Consultant in anaesthesia and analgesia who is board-certified (ECVAA/ACVAA or RCVS Specialist status), or residency-trained, who will support and build upon the existing teams in providing exceptional care to our patients.

A full-time position is based on a 4-day working week as we believe in providing a good work-life balance as well as a friendly working atmosphere.

You will be committed to provide high standards of care to both our patients and referring veterinary surgeons. Our referral-only practice is complimented by an excellent team and provides the opportunity to concentrate on your clinical caseload in a pleasant and supportive atmosphere. The anaesthesia team consists of one consultant, one anaesthesia nurse and one anaesthesia intern, rotating nurses and rotating interns.

We are looking to meet individuals who are dedicated to clinical excellence, as well as working as part of a team. Candidates will have to be members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, or be eligible for registration.

Our newly refurbished facilities and equipment provide an exceptional working environment. This includes new discipline dedicated theatre suites with state-of-the-art equipment, CT/MRI, new wards and examination areas.

We are a referral centre with a growing team of specialists in Neurology, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care, Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Anaesthesia and Cardiology. It’s a very exciting time to become part of the expanding team!
